Q: How can I be sure the kiosk is safe? |
| We take every precaution to ensure your data is erased immediately following your session. However if a user does not end the session by clicking on our end session button another user could use your remaining time and possibly gain access to your information. We have procedures in place to protect you, so please read our instructions at the terminal carefully. | | |

| Please contact us immediately to report the fault. | | |
|
Q: Can I use the USB port of the PC to download large files? |
| Yes of course but very large files incur a small download excess fee. This amount will be presented to you prior to you deciding to download the file. We do this to protect abuse by downloading large files which in turn slows the internet down for everyone else. | | |
|
Q: Why do you charge excess fees for big files? |
| Our internet services are very fast and therefore a lot can be downloaded in a very short time. In order for us to keep our rates at reasonable levels we will need to sometimes require a small fee be paid for very large files. This allows us to keep it fair for everyone. If you have any questions relating to these fees please contact us anytime. | | |

Q: Can I print? |
| At most kiosks you can print to a black and white printer. Check the kiosk locator to see if your local Hi Speed Kiosk has a printer installed. (We are rolling printers out to all kiosks in the next few months) Just follow the on screen instructions. For rates click here. | | |
|
Q: Can I use my laptop at the kiosk? |
| Some kiosks have wireless access points installed. Check the kiosk locator to see if your local Hi Speed Kiosk has one. (We are rolling printers out wireless to most kiosks in the near future) All you need to do is purchase some time just like you would if you were going to use our normal stations, then turn on your wireless network card and search for our signal. You will then be asked to login and away you go. When you disconnect your time will stop and any remaining time will wait for you till next time. For rates click here. | | |
|
Q: Can I download to floppy disks and CD-ROM's? |
| No, unfortunately we find these devices are open to abuse and excessive wear. We have found a USB access point is the best, most reliable and safest method. You can pick up a memory stick (that uses a USB slot to download) from most of our kiosks which comes with $20 FREE access and a stack of other goodies. Click here for information. | | |
